TLC Chiropractic
If this is your first visit to a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr DiNatale will explain all about Chiropractic. After a thorough consultation with the doctor, you will have a complete chiropractic examination. This will include; postural analysis, your ability to turn and bend, checking your spine for subluxations, (spinal fixations) as well as other standard orthopedic and neurologic tests. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that she will have a better understanding of how chiropractic can help you. X-ray is sometimes required to get a full evaluation of a patient. The need for X-ray is considered on a case by case basis. We do not take X-rays at our office, you will be referred to Hawaii Radiologic Associates, LTD. Imaging Center, off Kuakini Hwy before Palani Road in Kailua-Kona.
Most of our patients begin to see results from the very first adjustment. Dr. Lisa combines Chiropractic adjustments with therapy modalities, (ie: ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, traction), rehabilitative exercises, and massage. Our special massage chair is awesome! It helps to loosen you up before your adjustment. Dr. Lisa utilizes a state of the art adjusting table. She incorporates Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage and “Trigger point” with a flexion/ distraction type of traction, which has been used for many low back conditions from arthritis/ degenerative disc disease to disc herniations.
